Kenneth Duke
Director of Procurement
As director of procurement for DHA, Kenneth oversees DHA’s procurement strategy and directs the daily activities of the department to ensure transparent compliance processes.
He is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in organizing and leading procurement processes. In his previous role as the senior manager of procurement for Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), he played a key role in DART’s receipt of the Achievement in Excellence in Procurement (AEP) award for eight consecutive years.
Kenneth takes pride in forming collaborative, transparent and innovative partnerships with a variety of DHA partners and works to ensure that all agency procurement activities follow federal and state requirements.
Drawing from his additional experience in customer service, Kenneth’s approach is rooted in problem-solving and client satisfaction. After earning a bachelor of science degree in Psychology at Texas A&M University–Commerce, Kenneth went on to earn an MBA at Colorado Tech University. Further, Kenneth is a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), which underscores his commitment to professional development.
Kenneth’s extensive experience, innovative approach and dedication to achieving excellence play a significant role in helping DHA achieve its mission of providing affordable quality housing and supportive resources in North Texas.
