We believe that communities are stronger when everyone has a chance to thrive, which is why it’s important for us to offer our residents with opportunities to create pathways they can access to enhance their quality of life.
Our Resident Empowerment programs and resources are pathways to brighter futures including education, employment, resident councils and homeownership support.
EDUCATION
From early childhood through higher education, DHA has supportive resources to help our clients learn and grow.
EMPLOYMENT + TRAINING
We have dedicated resources to help our clients with job readiness and to find work that will help them become economically independent.
HEALTHCARE
Health is essential. We have partnered with leading healthcare providers to improve access to care.
RESIDENT LEADERSHIP
The voice of DHA Residential Communities’ residents is important as we seek to continuously improve the quality of life for our families. We have Resident Leadership Committees that represent our families, share feedback and ideas.
FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY (FSS) PROGRAM
This a voluntary program designed to assist families in becoming economically independent.
HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM
Housing Choice Voucher clients have an opportunity to access resources to help them become home owners.
VETERANS AFFAIRS SUPPORTIVE HOUSING (VASH)
Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance for our veterans to help them secure affordable housing and supportive resources.
COMMUNICATIONS RESOURCES
Communication is critical. DHA provides access to communications resources for our clients.
