Updating Our Public Housing Resident Lease

DHA rents 3,604 public housing units, which it owns and manages, to persons who qualify to reside in the public housing program. DHA has revised its lease agreement to comply with modified HUD regulations and new state and city requirements governing the eviction process.

DHA is posting its revised lease effective May 17, 2023, providing DHA residents the opportunity to review the lease agreement and during the next 30-days DHA residents may submit comments regarding the revised lease agreement to DHA. All comments received will be carefully considered and DHA will respond to the commenter. DHA residents may submit comments to Shannon Bramlet, Director of Housing Operations at Shannon.Bramlet@dhantx.com.

DHA will send an email notice to all DHA residents inviting them to attend a virtual meeting starting in early June 2023, where staff will present a summary of the changes to the lease.
