“MEETING NOTICE”
February 5, 2020
A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF DHA HOUSING
SOLUTIONS FOR NORTH TEXAS, WILL TAKE PLACE AT
THE DALE V. KESLER BOARD ROOM OF THE AUTHORITY,
3939 NORTH HAMPTON ROAD, DALLAS, TEXAS 75212 AT
6:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2020

The Commissioners may conduct a closed meeting pursuant to §551.071 of the Texas Government Code to seek the advice of its attorneys about a pending or contemplated litigation or about a settlement offer;or to consult with its
attorney on a matter in which the duty of its attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules or Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Open Meetings Act and/or pursuant to §551.072 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the purchase,  exchange, lease, or value of real property, if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the Authority in negotiations with a third person and/or pursuant to §551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or charge against any officer or employee, unless the officer or employee who is the subject of the deliberation or hearing requests a public hearing.

THE AGENDA OF THE MEETING IS LIMITED TO:

  1. Meeting Called to Order.
  2. Roll Call
  3. Recognition of Individuals Wishing to Address the Board.
  4. Public Hearing regarding Amendment #1 to DHA’s 2020PHA Plan.
  5. Public Hearing regarding the Acquisition of Inwood Station Apartments by NHTP Inwood, Inc., a public facilities corporation created by DHA Housing Solutions for North Texas, with the Subsequent Ground Lease of the Real Property to Fairfield Inwood LLC.
  6. Approval of the January 13 Business Review Meeting Minutes, and the January 13, 2020 Regular Meeting Minutes.

 

CONSENT ITEM (S):
(The following items are considered routine or non-controversial and will be approved in one
motion, without discussion. If a Board member or other meeting attendee wishes to discuss a
particular item, that person should inform the Chair and the item will be moved to the Discussion
portion of the agenda.)

  1. A Resolution Approving Amendment #1 to the 2020 PHA Plan and Authorizing Submission of the Amendment to HUD. #5029
  2. A Resolution to Approve the Acquisition of the Inwood Station Apartments by NTHP Inwood, Inc. and Subsequent Ground Lease to Fairfield Inwood LLC. #5030
  3. A Resolution to Adopt Amendments to the DHA Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan (ADMIN PLAN) #5031
  4. A Resolution to Adopt Amendments to the DHA Admissions and Continued Occupancy Plan (ACOP). #5032
  5. A Resolution Authorizing Submission of the Fiscal Year 2019 Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) Certification for the DHA Housing Choice Voucher Program. #5033
  6. Recognition of Individuals wishing to address the Board.
