DHA was founded in 1938. We are proud to celebrate 80 years of service to the community. Our agency has a deep history and legacy in affordable housing.

Today, DHA continues to move forward, reshaping how we deliver resources, improving our communities and people’s lives. We are leveraging our resources to help our residents and clients get on the path to a self-sufficient life. We take the lessons from our past with us into the future so that we can be good stewards of the resources entrusted to our care.

I am so proud of the work that this agency does. Our team includes 280 employees, who work each day to ensure 54,000 people have the housing resources they need to reach their full potential.

Our mission is to provide affordable quality housing and access to supportive resources across North Texas.

We create housing solutions in healthy, inclusive communities that offer economic, educational and social growth opportunities. Our business partners and neighbors are an essential part of this mission.

Our dedicated, caring team of professionals is driven to deliver quality housing services on behalf of our clients and partners.
